In 2004 I borrowed $3000 from my dad to make the pilot episode of City A Go Go, a 5-minute interstitial art series that aired on Seattle Channel 21 and KCTS 9. Four years later, that mini version morphed into Art Zone with Nancy Guppy, a half-hour show dedicated to Seattle’s vibrant local arts scene. Since then Art Zone with Nancy Guppy has showcased thousands of artists in every genre, received a pile of Northwest Emmy Awards, and celebrated it’s 10th anniversary with a kick ass “here’s how we got here” video and excellent press from the The Seattle Times and from KING TV’s New Day Northwest.
